once upon a time…

I painted t-shirts with the Doolittle family, just off Millside Drive in Porters Lake. I made & wore these tees to my rural Nova Scotian high school for the sole purposes of fulfilling my inner creative and fashion forward soul. The year is 2004. 11 years later, I made affirmation t-shirts and sold those along side my healthy meal delivery companies guacamole and sweet potato wraps. Then, four months after my son was born and four months before COVID-19 begun, I created a “logo” that I loved but never quite knew what to do with. Until my son was four years old and while I’m ironing labels on a fresh four pack of tees, he walks over turns the logo sideways. That simple change was monumental, and all from the mind & vantage point of someone less than four feet high off the ground.

He took the word change, that I changed and again, changed how I saw change.
